My sister also donated to a...What an absolute star! My sister also donated to a stranger. I feel so proud of her. Her hospital did say that the stranger must never find out who donated to them. The only way they can find out is by the donor giving the date of donation, which you have above by saying which day and the date of your post. This could cause a lot of problems. Donors are told not to give out date or the month of donation as the recipient could then easily know who donated to them. And if the press got hold of it, then that persons privacy is compromised. The donation is anonymous and as such that includes when the donation took place. What the powers to be say is to either say "recently" or "early last year" or "late last year" when talking/writing about it on a public place where anyone, including the recipient, could find it. Just a heads up :) maybe change yours to "recently". <br /><br />You must be just so so so so proud of him! What a wonderful guy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
